The Armor of God
Read: Ephesians 6:10-12 Put on the whole armor of God. (v. 11) When you got up this morning you probably followed your normal routine: personal hygiene, getting dressed, perhaps private
Does living your faith ever feel like entering a battlefield? The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6 to “put on the whole armor of God” to stand firm in the face of trials. But what does that armor look like, and how do we wear it?
This devotional reading plan explores the spiritual tools God provides: truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. Each piece of the armor is more than symbolic; it’s a practical resource for living boldly and faithfully. From the belt of truth to the sword of the Spirit, each day offers fresh insight into how these elements protect, guide, and empower us.
We’ll also reflect on real-life applications of these spiritual principles. How do we remain steadfast in the truth when lies surround us? What does it mean to trust God in moments of fear and doubt? Together, we’ll learn how to rely on God’s strength, not our own, to navigate the complexities of life.
As you study over this week, ask yourself: Am I putting on God’s armor each day? Am I ready to stand firm in faith? Let this series be a time to deepen your trust in the One who equips you for victory.
