NEPAL — Pray for the work of a Nepali pastor who has been listening to Words of Hope’s Nepali language podcast. He serves a small church of Nepali speaking people in India and is part of a leadership network called Nepali Speaking Pastors and Leaders in India that has been organized by Words of Hope  tTeam.

INDIA — Nearly ten years ago, members of the Words of Hope team in India gave a man named Jagadeep a radio. Recently team members returned to visit Jagadeep. Now several families in his village identify as Christians. They said they are relying on Words of Hope to continue to help them grow in their faith. A Bible study is being organized for them.

INDONESIA — An Indonesian listener community member shares, “Through this devotional, I am reminded to express love not only to God, but also to my husband, children, family, and people around me because the Lord Jesus has loved me first. I am so grateful to be able to learn about God’s word through the material shared by Words of Hope.”

BHUTAN — A new believer in Bhutan says, “I accepted the Lord as my Savior. After coming to church and listening to the Word of God, I found peace and comfort in my heart. ALBANIA — We give thanks that our Albanian ministry team has noticed an increase in their audience numbers, as well as more interactions with their content online. The program, “The Truth I Hold” is especially popular with viewers, because it features the stories of real people. The people interviewed in the program speak about how they have stood up for their faith.

NIGER — Words of Hope’s Zarma language producer is focusing on creating programs for young people. He explains that Niger can be a dangerous place where young people are at risk of being lured by the promise of money into trafficking of various kinds. The new programs seek to warn, raise awareness, and educate young people about these dangers.

IRAN — Pray for a new Words of Hope Persian language children’s program for social media and television. Pray that each episode will reach and impact many young hearts. Also remember the team behind this hundred-episode series; pray that God continues to guide them in creating content that blesses the next generation of Persian Christians.

ENGLISH — A new devotional book by Words of Hope president emeritus Rev. David Bast is complete and will be available soon! The book is a year-long study following the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, and is organized around the church’s liturgical calendar. Pray that this new resource will help many people to grow in their faith.

TURKEY — A listener in Turkey reached out to the team to request prayer for the health of his son who was receiving treatment for leukemia. The team prayed with the man and continued to check in on him for some time. By the grace of God, the treatment is going well, and the son’s health is stable. Pray that the boy will receive complete healing.
