God works through our prayers. Prayers go where our feet cannot, and the Holy Spirit intercedes in our prayers even when we do not know what words to say. Prayer connects the body of Christ near and far around the world.
The following prayer requests were shared by our ministry team in Turkey. The names of the individuals have been changed for security reasons. Please join us in praying for each one.
For Freedom from Addiction
Eric recently reached out with a heavy heart. He has been struggling with gambling and alcohol consumption, which have affected his relationship with the Lord. He is sincerely seeking to change, and he expressed deep sorrow and regret for the mistakes he has made in the past. Please pray for Eric to find the strength to break free from these harmful addictions and grow closer to the Lord.
For Healing from Cancer
Ethan contacted the team in Turkey to ask for prayer for his son’s health. His son is receiving treatment for leukemia. The team has continued to correspond and pray with Ethan, and by the grace of God, his son’s treatment is going well. His health is stabilizing. Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch on Ethan’s son and for God’s grace and strength to be upon them during this time.
For a Heart to be Opened to Christ
Bryan is a Muslim who shared his frustration about feeling unheard in his prayers. This frustration has led him to become curious about Christianity. The team in Turkey encouraged Bryan with the passage from John 16:23-24, where Jesus tells the disciples that when they pray in his name, God will answer them. The team advised Bryan to pray in Jesus’ name and assured him that he can pour out his heart to the Lord. Please pray for Bryan to encounter the love of God and to receive the revelation that our God is a loving Father who hears our prayers and petitions through Christ.
