Ministry Updates
South Sudan was torn apart by civil war for fifty years. But in spite of the war, there has been great gospel advance. Now about 2.8 million belong to the Evangeli¬cal/Reformed communities in South Sudan alone. “There is so much progress in the ministry,” reports David Wat. “People are converted daily to Christ by hearing the gospel through our programs. The ministry is going more smoothly than three years ago. However, there is a problem of communication because some people have no access to give us their feedback.”
According to extensive audience research conducted by the Words of Hope-sponsored Media Research Institute, these are the most listened to broadcasts among southern Sudanese listeners.
