July 2008 - Olympics Focus World Attention on Tibet

Since March 2008 when the Olympic torch passed through many countries en route to Beijing, world attention has focused on Tibet and the plight of her people under Chinese rule. Along the way, demonstrators protested conditions in the Tibetan homeland, highlighting aspirations for freedom and peace.
